PROCEDURES TO GET A PERMANENT MOTORCYCLE LICENCE TYPE A1
I. Conditions to take the licencing examination motorcyclist A1
1. That person must be permitted to reside or work, study in Vietnam, confirmed document must be conducted as follow:
Letter of reference from embassy, consulate, head of economic and social organizations which the above foreigner is working or studying there.
2. Have a passport to enter Vietnam.
3. That person must be healthy in accordance with ” health standard of motor vehicle operator” under provision of Health Ministry.
4. A1 motorcyclists must understand or had conditions to study themselves the Road traffic law and was able to use vehicles in a safe way. If these people do not have request to study together with other people, they must take a guarantee letter and ask to not join the course. These people must have all the conditions above at point 4.1.1 and apply for training center to register for examination.
II. Instructions to prepare documents.
1. Passport must be translated and notarized into Vientamese at the State Notary Public (01 copy), valid passport and Visa in Vietnam.
2. 03 Photos ( passport size).
3. Health check certification.
4. Prepare 01 set of document.
– Full name: in capital letters.
– Place of residence: address in Vietnam.
– Note: “CMT” is replaced by passport number.
III. Course fee and licencing examination motorcyclist: 500 000 vnd. ( =23$).
* Note: If you have a car driving license abroad, please change to Vietnamese car driving license. You will be allowed not to study and take the theory examination ( Road traffic law).
